Programs

While early detection is key to treating vision problems, only one in three children in America has received eye care services before the age of six, and children from low-income households are more likely to have undiagnosed vision problems.

With that in mind, Conexus has created comprehensive children’s programs so that no child has to go through school without the benefits of healthy vision.

Our VisioCheck program screened more than 81,000 students during the 2022-2023 school year.

In addition, our Mobile Vision Clinic was able to provide 5,798 exams, prescribe 4,507 pairs of glasses, and refer 390 children for additional care during the 2022-2023 school year. The program has grown significantly; in its inaugural school year in 2018-2019, the Conexus Mobile Vision Clinic provided 551 exams.
