Conexus Expands Mobile Vision Clinic to Prince Edward County

In late January, Conexus launched its very first Mobile Vision Clinic in Prince Edward County Public Schools at Prince Edward County Elementary School.

Over the course of this new clinic location, Conexus will be providing free eye exams and glasses to more than 60 children in Kindergarten and Third Grade.

In addition, later this school year, Conexus will bring the Mobile Vision Clinic to Seventh Grade students at Prince Edward County Middle and Tenth Grade students at Prince Edward County High. Conexus anticipates providing these exams to 150 students in the County.

The students eligible for the Mobile Vision Clinic have all been referred through an earlier Conexus VisioCheck screening.

“At Conexus, we recognized that students across the Commonwealth, both in urban and rural communities, are in need of our Mobile Clinic services,” Tim Gresham, Conexus CEO said. “We are taking a thoughtful and strategic approach to expansion”

“This growth allows us to bring the gift of healthy vision to even more kids and marks an incredible milestone and is a testament to not only the hard work Conexus staff does every single day, but to the overwhelming support of our partners and donors as well.”
