Conexus Delivers its 5000th Exam of the 2022-2023 School Year

On Thursday, April 20th, Conexus hit a milestone for the 2022-2023 school year by delivering its 5000th Mobile Vision Clinic exam. This marquee moment occurred at Franklin Military Academy, Richmond Public Schools. The student was 10th grader MaKayla and the exam she received from Conexus that morning was her very first eye exam!

MaKayla was extremely appreciative of Conexus and the work that we do to ensure poor vision is not a barrier to student’s success in the classroom, and she was excited to know that because of the glasses she will receive, she would be able to pass the eye screening when she goes for her driver’s permit soon.

Since the Conexus Mobile Vision Clinic was launched at the start of the 2018-2019 school year, Conexus has delivered more than 14,700 free eye exams to students throughout Central Virginia.
