In mid April, Conexus was honored to welcome First Lady Suzanne S. Youngkin and former First Lady Roxane Gilmore to a glasses dispensing event at Chimborazo Elementary School, Richmond Public Schools.
Mrs. Youngkin stopped by the event as part of her honoring Women and Girls’ Wellness as well as National Volunteer Month.
Through the Conexus Mobile Vision Clinic, more than 40 students at Chimborazo Elementary received a free eye exam and a pair of glasses, removing poor vision as a barrier to their success in, and out of, the classroom.
