In late April, the Conexus team delivered free eye exams to more than 60 students at Westside Elementary School – Roanoke City Public Schools, as part of a Mobile Vision Clinic pilot.
The goal of this pilot is to bring Roanoke City Public Schools on as a Conexus VisioCheck screening partner with an eye towards a gradual expansion of the Conexus Mobile Vision Clinic as determined by doctor availability and as Conexus’ satellite efforts across the state progress over the coming months.
Conexus is excited for the future as we continue to work towards growing our service footprint, bringing healthy vision to even more students across the Commonwealth; and these two days in Roanoke are the first step towards Roanoke Valley growth!
