On Tuesday, October 28th, Conexus hosted its 4th annual Community Celebration and Awards Reception at Independence Golf Club.
“This special evening is a way for us to say thank you to the community that makes our work across the region possible,” said Tim Gresham, Conexus CEO & President. “And it’s important for us to take a moment to honor and celebrate our partners and their support.”
This year’s honorees were:
Education Partner of the Year – Richmond City School Health; Ranesha Parks, Chief Wellness Officer; Angela Jones, Director of Culture Climate and Student Services; Candiece Bourne, Nurse Manager; Karrell Smith, Nurse Specialist; and Lori Willis, Nurse Specialist
Community Partner of the Year – South Richmond Rotary
Vision Partner of the Year – Prevent Blindness Virginia Real Estate Foundation; Willis Blackwood, Dale Cannady, and John D. O’Neill, Jr.
In addition to these community awards, Conexus also recognized current Board Member and past Board Chairman, Tom Shockley, for his years of dedication and support by presenting him with The Joseph E. Nichols Award.
