The Conexus mobile vision clinic was at Summit Elementary School in November, providing free eye exams for students.
“I think we always think about kids in the classroom that are struggling with their education. But these same kids, if they’re struggling in school, they’re struggling out of school too,” said Jeff Baldwin with Conexus. “They don’t see leaves on the trees, then when you’re entering Thanksgiving and Christmas, they don’t see the holiday lights. So for us to provide that to them, it means everything.”
